Full Phase Timber Development
We offer a full range of development services from initial planning right through to permit approval. Our team focusses on full phase development, bringing deep experience of local knowledge and technical expertise to our products. We perform reconnaissance, road and cutblock design and layout, bridge plans, environmental assessments, appraisals, and permit acquisition. Our specialty is bringing your plan to a finished product saving you management and planning costs.
Timber Harvesting Management
Our team has 30+ years of experience and is able to provide both onsite harvesting and road construction supervision and monitoring along with coordinating with other resource professionals. We are able to provide comprehensive solutions for all stages of the harvesting and road construction processes to help our clients manage and extract the most value from their forest resources.
GIS Services

Professional Forestry Services
Our team of Registered Professional Foresters and Registered Forest Technologists can prepare and deliver a wide array of professional services. Finlay Forest Management has the capability to help companies apply for wide variety of site-specific approvals for timber harvesting so as to manage all aspects of a replaceable forest licence. Finlay Forest management currently administers all of Tsay Keh Dene’s forestry licences, including a 100,000 cubic meter Replaceable Forest License.
Silviculture
Finlay Forest Management has a dedicated crew that can perform a variety of forest regeneration activities including stratification layout, planting and brushing supervision, post harvest prescriptions, and survey.
